Living in Wiltshire, I’ve grown up with the outdoors, with lots of pub-walks and bonfires. However, I first properly got into the outdoors in the year of my GCSEs. I picked up mountain biking, and soon after caught the hiking bug on my silver Duke of Edinburgh expedition in the Peak District.

I’ve been visiting Somerset all my life, and moving here from the city a few years ago was a fantastic opportunity for me to get outside more and to spend more time in the outdoors. I’ve been camping and walking for as long as I can remember and, for the last four years, I’ve been trail running and longer-distance hiking.
